Lunch options at/near the event: There are plenty of options within walking distance. These include Sammich (local and mostly organic and just across the street. They are locally owned, they roast their own pastrami and make their own tuna from the freshest fish!), Market of Choice (a lot of excellent offerings there, including a buffet and soup bar), and Case Coffee (they serve organic, locally roasted coffee.)

(2) Saturday, October 27 first ever Oregon screening of Symbiotic Earth: How Lynn Margulis rocked the boat and started a scientific revolution @ 6 P.M.
Symbiotic Earth is a new documentary film about a microbiologist whose work profoundly changed our understanding of the mechanisms of evolution and foreshadowed the current interest in the human biome.
Cost: Free with Conference Registration or $15 (suggested donation at the door–if you plan to come, please register at EventBrite so we know how many to expect)
